Oahu Diving Jumping Contest
Welcome to Oahu Diving's Jumping Contest- Where the only winner is judged by the hardest, most painful jump.
At Oahu Diving we know diving can be a little boring, warm tropical water hovering near 80 degrees sparkling blue in color with visibility that is better than a pool. So we realized, our customers needed a little bit more entertainment. Introducing our Hawaii famous Surface Interval Jump Contest. I begins with a jaw dropping climb to the top of the Nori Z. Carefully taking into consideration the wind speed and swell direction, our Captain will maneuver the boat to meet the jumper's needs. Jumping from atop the Nori Z, our contestants get a thrill of a lifetime similar to a freefall effect when ski diving.

Jumping from 20 feet is a pure adrenalin ruse, seeing Hawaii's crystal clear water rush at you will leave you in awe. Again, this is as close to sky diving you will get without the hassle using an airplane.
How do I enter this unique contest ?
Oahu Diving's customers divers are free to enter and there is no weight or age limitation. All participants must be fully aware of the dangers of entering the Jump Contest. Some dangers that are involved could be and are not limited to;
- Laughing so hard you could choke.
- Spectators laughing so hard they fall in the water.
- Terminal velocity airspeed attained, bodily injury could occur.
- "Pink belly" or "pink back."(This depends on what type of jump you do and how you penetrate the water.)
- Sunburn exacerbation
- Swim suits may come off due to the high velocity speeds one attains during the freefall experience and/or penetration speed.
Due to the popularity of this contest, distribution rights of pictures, videos and usage of all material involved is strictly that of Oahu Diving. Using any of Oahu Diving's footage is strictly regulated.

Frankly speaking south shore of Oahu with wreck dives such as the yo-257 or the Sea Tiger, then around Diamondhead, The Corsair and the Barges are some of the most requested dives.
